Channellock Enthused about Chiron Project

A recently completed project supported by Chiron America was received with great enthusiasm by both Chiron and Chiron’s customer, Channellock. Currently, the loading of plier forgings is a manual process. The project objective was to automate the loading process of the Channellock plier forgings into a Chiron CNC machine. There was a strict requirement that the process had to load four forgings within 28 seconds.

The project was so successful that both Chiron and Channellock are anxious to begin a follow-on project to address other aspects of the plier assembly process.
